That would depend on a multitude of variables. First...which engine...350, 400, 455. How do you drive it? Is it "built"? Stock....I'd say around 12-15 average. I've built some that would get close to 20 and others that did good to get 8.
As far as I know....you don't. The show is no longer doing new episodes.
The Pontiac LeMans would be my choice. It is slightly larger and more luxurious. The Pontiac engine was also a better engine than the Chevy.
Yes
The 455 and 400 was an option motor in the 1972 Pontiac LeMans, yes it will fit. I'm not sure if a beefier tranny was also included?
you have to drop the entire pan since there is no plug and you might as well change the filter and gasket while you have it off
I found weight for a gto they are: coupe = 3,705 hardtop=3720 ac=+112lbs muncie =-24.6 lbs Hope this helps...
Depending on what body parts you are needing, the 70-72 should fit. This would include the GTO and the LeMans.
8 miles
The 1972 Pontiac LeMans typically features a V8 engine, which operates on a four-stroke cycle: intake, compression, power, and exhaust. Air and fuel are drawn into the cylinders during the intake stroke, compressed by the pistons, and ignited by spark plugs, creating combustion that drives the pistons down. This linear motion is converted to rotational motion through the crankshaft, ultimately powering the vehicle. The exhaust gases are then expelled, completing the cycle.
Mine takes 165 5 gallon's . It is modified thou
The 1972 Pontiac LeMans offered several engine options, including a 250 cubic inch (4.1 L) inline-six, a 350 cubic inch (5.7 L) V8, and a 400 cubic inch (6.6 L) V8. The 350 V8 produced 150 horsepower, while the 400 V8 had a higher output of 230 horsepower. Additionally, a 455 cubic inch (7.5 L) V8 was available for those seeking more power, delivering around 250 horsepower. These options catered to a range of performance preferences for buyers that year.
The 1972 ford bronco got an estimated 13.3 mpg highway, and 11.1 mpg in the city. The average would allow you to travel 137 miles on a tank of fuel.
