The engine in your Town Car should last hundreds of thousands of miles. As long as you keep up on your regular maintenance and periodically (once a year?) check to make sure the engine is running properly (take it to a mechanic who has a very expensive looking diagnostics computer in his garage) you shouldn't have any trouble over the life of the rest of the car. Fords 4.6L has been known to last over 400K miles when taken care of. Your real question should be "how long with the transmission last?" To that I don't know the answer (yet).
I have a friend with 170,000 miles and he still drives it daily, I have another friend replacing his engine at 50,000 miles.
because ther skine
It has a cam belt. This engine is an interference engine and as such if the belt breaks serious engine damage will occur. Do not neglect replacing the belts. This engine has 2 belts that must be replaced at 105,000 miles. Camshaft & Balance Shaft belts. The water pump is also driven by the cam belt and should be replaced at the same time as the belts, as this will save you labor costs later on considering the pump will need replacing before the belts need replacing at 210,000 miles.
There is no maintenance schedule for replacing a timing chain. Timing chains are designed to last the life of the engine and are normally replaced during a complete engine rebuild.
The "Dodge" diesel is actually a Cummins heavy truck engine. With proper maintenance, it should last about 250,000 miles. The injectors will need replacing every 100,000 miles. I would say 500,000 is average for the engine. I do not agree about the injectors. The truck will wear out before the engine does.

If the engine is a 4 cylinder it has no timing belt and no maintenance is required. However is it is a V6 the cam belt MUST be replaced at 110,000 miles. If the belt breaks serious engine damage will occur. So you have a little time before it needs replacing.
The 2000 Lincoln LS with the 3.0 liter V6 engine gets 22 / 23 miles to the U.S. gallon on the highway.
60k, 80k or 100k, depending on the engine type. Vauxhall have more than one 1.7 diesel engine. Phone a dealer, have the registration and chassis number to hand, and ask.
a million miles
From Lincoln to Exeter it is 250 miles
