vw's are typically at 60k
You should change the timing belt on the 2003 passat v6 after 100,000 miles is reached.
100,000 miles and no later. Jeff.
I have 104,000 miles on my 1998 passat. 3000 is an ok deal, but make sure the timing belt has been replaced. I just had to spend $850 to get my timing belt, water pump and thermostat replaced.
at how many miles is it before you change your timing belt
It would be best to change the timing belt at or before 100k miles.
80,000 miles
Yes it should be changed around that point. Originally VW said 105,000 miles before changing it because the powertrain warranty was 10years/100,000 miles. Quite a few snapped at 95,000 so they dropped the longer warranty and changed the timing belt interval.
Change it every 60,000 miles.
Change it every 90,000 miles.
Change it every 105,000 miles.
every 60000 thousand Miles
timing belts need to be changed every 60k miles
