Answer Neons are typically not very reliable. The average person might get 150-200k miles, but as with any car, they can last much longer than that if you take care of them. Mine currently has 243k miles on it, and I have only had to replace the fuel pump, one motor mount, and the infamous door jamb switch. They can be good cars, but they must be cared for very meticulously. You can never slip on maintenance.
