There are a LOT of variables that come into play here. What engine/transmission do you have? How fast do you drive? Is it highway, city, or a mixture of miles? How much of a load do you have in the car? etc., etc.....
The fuel tank has a 14.5 gallon capacity. If you have the 4-cylinder engine with a manual transmission, about 25mpg highway would be reasonable, so your range would be about 360 miles. If you have the 2.5 V6 and automatic trans, then you can expect a little lower mileage, or probably around 320 miles. Knock about 20% off those numbers for city driving.
Could be the servo unit in the transmission. Had the same problem and replaced the fuel pump in our 1999 ford contour but it was the servo unit.
A ford contour holds approximately 4 quarts of oil. Add about 3.5 quarts of oil, then add slowly until the dipstick reads full.
How many miles can you do on a full tank on a 1994 2 door ford explorer?
check for blockage in the lines.
I get 410 miles but not had it serviced satley
350-400 miles
200 miles
You should be able to get 325 miles on a full 20 gallons of gas.
2000
I had a 1.25 LX and got about 260 miles to a tank
28 gallons
Ford recommends 5W30 full synthetic for all of their modern engines. The 2.5L V6 engine takes between 5.5 and 6 quarts of oil, while the Zetec takes 4.5 quarts.
