I have a 2000 Chevy Blazer LT and it ran great until I took it to a Valvoline for an oil change. I had over 160,000 miles on it and they put the wrong oil filter on it to cause my engine to seize.

300k if you maintain it.
1987 is the last year for a carburetor.
many have lasted over 250,000 miles, the 4.8 is very durable
Yes, the last year for throttle body injection for Chevy was in 1995, I believe.
It does not have a timing belt, That engine has a timing chain and gears and they normally last the life of the engine.
With proper care and maintenance, as long as you want it to.
It will be the last spark plug on the rear of the passenger side of the engine.
old rule of thumb; north american 250k km's, japan 350k km's, european 450k km,s
3 gallons of fuel will probably get you aprox 50 miles.
2005
I had bought an 87 Blazer when they came out that year and drove the dickens out of it until it was t-boned by a runaway 68 BelAir in 93. I never had a mechanical failure with the Vortec engine. The belt retention frame broke and I drove the Blazer without the fan belt about 3 miles home and the temp gage was trying to register white hot. I fixed the frame and the engine worked flawlessly. When the Blazer died, it had 178,000 miles and I couldn't save the engine because of insurance regs. Too bad.
No way of knowing without a service record and even then it would be a guess.
