It all depends on genetics, diet and adaptability. First look at what genetics traits you have, like eating and gaining weight fast or eating and not gaining weight at all. Also tied to diet, what are you eating when you are eating and whether or not you are drinking a lot of water. My tip eat fruits every hour you are awake because they have water and electrolytes. Also things with very little or no fat. Eat food with high number of proteins like grilled chicken and grilled fish, also lots of fiber like nuts with no salt. No matter how old you are always drink milk, rebuild muscle and makes stronger bones. Most important is when to eat depending on when you run, eat very light 1 hour before you run and drink milk or a fruit shake 10 to 15 minutes after done running. If you have a healthy diet you will lose weight faster. It also depends on how long it takes for you to feel fatigue, your legs heart, you become heavy, sweating a lot more, your lungs feel like they have rocks in them. So find your fatigue point and run for another 3-5 minutes, stop, do not sit down, breath, you will sweat even more for about 5 minutes for your body to cool down, do not go into rooms with ac or you wont sweat off those extra 100 calories, wait for about 5 to 10 minutes and drink milk or a fruit shake. It also depend on age and gender, the older you are the hardest it is and males lose weight faster than females. Run for about 2 to 3 day straight and rest one day and repeat, after a weak run longer and further your fatigue point. Also time your running distance to see if improved and improve by running faster. I almost forgot 1 pound = 3500 calories, so in your case you would have to RUN 5 miles a day for 7 days to lose lose 1 pound. But it all goes down to genetics, diet, and adaptability. For example, I run 3 miles every morning in 20 minutes or less, eat a healthy diet, and bike 9 miles every night 20 minutes for less, I lost 20 pounds in 14 days thats 1.4 pounds a day. People think thats crazy but I have gain weight fast and lose weight fast genes, also a healthy diet, and keep on trying to improve my running and biking time. Also try swimming if you can it also helps to improve muscle development.
depends how much u want to lose good luck
I would say about 3 miles if you don't eat more to make up for it.
4 miles.
The number of miles a person must run to lose 35 pounds in 5 weeks depends a lot on the size of the person and the speed at which you run. Running at the fairly moderate pace of 5 MPH, a person who weighs 165 pounds will burn about 126 calories. You need to burn 3500 calories to lose one pound. This means that you'd need to run almost 28 miles in 5 weeks to lose one pound, and 35 times that, or about 972 miles, to lose 25 pounds. However, running will increase your overall metabolism so you won't actually need this many miles, and if you cut some calories out of your diet you will lose weight faster.
