If you kep up on the maintenance it can go a LONG way. So many factors could effect the life of your motor, so you need to be concerned with all the ones you can effect. If you don't make "Jack Rabbit" starts off red lights, drive it as transportation and not NASCAR, and regularly change the oil and keep it tuned up it will last a good long time. I have a Pontiac with 160,000 miles on a 3.8 that runs like a clock, but I don't beat on the car, and I keep up with the essential maintenance.
