I honestly have no idea. mine is over 96,000. its almost to 97,000. so at least that much. it will run good with some mods. the engine is a POS stock( i had to LITERALLY floor it to go up a hill when i got it), so most people cant believe i even tried to mod mine.
today is 5/31/10, I got a 98 prizm has 204,789 miles on it and still running strong. so if you are at 100,000 miles, you will be OK.

What are your goals with the engine? Stock replacement, or increasing performance? How many miles are on the engine?
The miles per gallon that an El Camino gets depends on the size of the engine. An El Camino with a Chevy 350 gets about 22 miles per gallon.
22-24 mpg
Depends on the engine, transmission, gearing, condition of car....
I have a 2000 Chevy Blazer LT and it ran great until I took it to a Valvoline for an oil change. I had over 160,000 miles on it and they put the wrong oil filter on it to cause my engine to seize. Jeff- Sioux Falls, SD
with regular oil changes I've got 250,000 + on my 98 tracker
