Approximately 2000
(More like 200 or 100 if you rip the whole thing)
I just ripped 105 movies, and they took up 366 gigs. I only copied the main movie, and not any other features or menus on the DVDs. Also, maybe about 5 of them were only about 25-30 minutes long, while most of the rest were full length movies. This is straight ripping without compression.
That depends on the movies files size. DVDs have a common size of 8-9.5 Gb, son 1,000,000,000,000/9,000,000,000=111, then approximately you can store 111 DVDs. Blurays usually have a size of 50 Gb, so you can store approximately 20 Blurays
2 terabytes = 2040 gigabyes......1 movie is between 7 and 10 gigabytes....use 9 gigabytes as average size.
Therefore, the number of movies that can fit on a 2 terabyte drive is 2040 divided by 9 which equals approximately 226 movies if you round down since you wouldn't want two thirds of a movie.
A 1TB hard drive has a little more memory than 412 DVD-Rs. So you should be able to hold approximately 412 DVD-quality movies on your 1TB hard drive.
If you are recording your own footage (and using your 1TB hard drive for editing/managing your files) then a 1TB hard drive can hold up to: 84 hours of HDV 1080i, 17 hours of DVCPro HD 1080i/60i or 13 hours of 8 bit Standard Definition.
Depends on the size;
An average length movie with a medium quality aspect ratio would probably be around 1 GB. since 1TB is 1024 GB you can hold over 1000 movies
On the Other hand, 1080p (HD) movies can be more than 6GB. So you would be able to hold around 170 HD movies
400 to 700 to infinity actually because it all depends on the quality but generally the number of hours of movie you can put on a 1tb drive is about 400 to 700, good luck on whatever you're doing
you can fit about 9 full length movies.
depending on the size of the movies, roughly 650-800 movies will fit on it.
around 167 movies
No there is no table it all depends on the hard drive size and the size of the pictures and movies. If you need any more information don't hesitate to ask me.
The hard drive is the main memory where most documents and multimedia files are stored, for example music, images and video's. Not only are these files stored on the Hard Drive but also the Operating System is kept on the Hard Drive. A computer can have more than one Hard Drive and these can either be Internal or External. Disk drives (HDD) come in many different sizes in memory; ranging from Kilo-Bite as the smallest and Terabyte as the largest.
well 1 gigabyte is about 1.5 hours. scince 1 terabyte is 1000 gigabytes. then it should equale about 1,500 hours

1 terabyte = 1,000,000 megabytes (used for hard drives, networking speeds, etc.) 1 tebibyte = 1,048,576 mebibytes (used for memory)
How many files do you have? What kind? Are you storing movies on your hard drive?
you have 1TB on a hard drive but you only have 950 gb what happened to the other 50 gb
212 movies at 4.7 gb. 1000/4.7 (hard drive space in gb/movie size)
How many movies a 64 gb flash drive can store depends on the length of the movies. If eacah movie is about 2 hours, then the flash drive can hold up to 21 movies.
One terabyte = 1024 gigabyte
