A:The Bible does not really give us a ruling either way. In 2 Corinthians 6:14, Paul commands Christians not to be joined together with non-Christians ("unequally yoked"), which is often taken to refer to marriage. However, in 1 Corinthians chapter 7 he quite clearly favours marriage to non-Christians as long as there is no dispute about religion. He says about recent converts who are already married that if a Christian man has an unbelieving wife, he should continue to live with her, just as a Christian woman with an unbelieving husband should live with him, unless the unbeliever wishes to separate.
