I do not know for sure how many o2 sensors are on your 98 Chevy but i do no they will be mounted in the exaust mainfold(s)
my 93 has only one mounted on the driver side manifold
Single exhaust? Look before and after the converter. O2 sensors measure oxygen content before and after flow through the converter.answerThe oxygen sensor is a spark plug shaped device that is screwed into the exhaust manifold. Answer:There is one sensor located before the cat convertor. It will be a 3 wire sensor.
off the driver side exhuast manifold
It should be on the rear tailhousing of the transmission.
Should be in a removable housing at the engine end of the upper radiator hose
On top of the brake master cylinder
It is screewed into the exhaust pipe. Start where the exhaust pipe bolts to the engine and work your way back to the muffler and you will see it. It should be close to the engine. It will be about 4 inches long and have a electric wire coming from the top of it. I'm sure that year truck only had one oxygen sensor.
The recommended spark plug gap on a 1996 Chevy C1500 with a V8-305 engine is .060"
It is next to the computer behind the glove box.
350 tbi
Behind the passenger side Glovebox.
No such thing.
It's part of the electronic engine controls.
