How many people are buying global warming now?

Basically everyone with any knowledge now admits not only that there is serious global warming, but that it is mostly man made, and increasing.

The only few who don't are being paid off.

Even President Bush admitted there was no longer any question at all.

This does not answer the question. We want to know the percentage of people who are still buying global warming now. We know that it is not everyone. Saying that anyone who does not agree with me has no knowledge does not cut it. I wonder just how much colder the Democrats want it to be. They will never tell you that. Just what ever temperature it was the day that I was born, or something like that. Not every one is still buying the line that the Global Warming zealots are putting out.

You know those same zealots were trying to scare us with global cooling in the seventies. That didn't work so they switched to global warming. Now that that is not working they are starting to use the catch all term, Climate Change. It is not so much whether it is warming or cooling. The main thing is that everyone should panic and do something about it right away, without thinking, even if it is wrong and very costly.

The question is phrased incorrectly. It is not a matter of "buying into" but whether or not scientific evidence supports the claim that the earth's climate is changing, and THEN how much of the change is due to human activity versus natural changes in the earth's climate.

Virtually all scientists agree there has been an increase in the average global temperature over the last 40 to 60 years. It's supported by everything from ocean temperature readings to animal migrations and growth of vegetation. The debate is over whether this is a permanent trend, and over its cause. Unfortunately as the above comments show, the debate has become extremely politicized with many people insisting that the cause is related to their particular economic and/or religious beliefs, rather than looking at the underlying scientific research

You missed the question all together. The question is not about your opinion of global warming. The people who buy it will say that it is true. People who don't believe in it will say it is a fraud. And no, not all scientists believe in it.

The question is not do you believe in global warming. The question has to do with what percentage of people believe it and what percentage of people don't. The percentage of people who are buying it or believing in it can change from week to week, so this is not the kind of question that is answered once and for all. The answer is constantly subject to change.
