Well lots of people are scared of the dark. For instance if you were a kid and watched horror films and the film was 18+ and you were 10 you would get scared and that can cause you being scared of the dark. And well some of the people are scared of the dark but they don't admit it just because you think they might laugh at you, but that's not necessary if you are scared of the dark at a young age like 6+ you might carry on being scared of the dark up to the age 30+.
