I would most-likely say no. They allow many kids to enter the boarding school, including the one's with pet allergies. The safest thing is to not go to boarding school, you never know what they might do to your pet.
There are many boarding schools in the UK. They have prep schools, co-ed, and ones for just boys or just girls.
From my experience, attending a boarding school in senior year is great! The most important lesson I got from my three year experience in a boarding school is that we get to be independent and learn how not to rely on others all the time to solve our problems. From that I also have more self confidence knowing the fact that I have lived 3 years of my life away from my parents. Next time I would already be used to it. The choice is yours actually, and your choice whether you will attend boarding school or not should also be approved by your parents. Often people that attend boarding school without permission by their parents end up doing badly at school. If you've got the permission, you have confidence that you can stay away from your parents, you are confident that you can solve your own problems (don't rely on friends all the time), and that you promise you will be responsible of your actions while at boarding school, then why not? Go for it! I am Mita, I want to say you that boarding life is just amazing. I also agree with RosaMistica that attending a boarding school we get to be independent and responsible that we can face any any challenge effectively. Also, in boarding schools we we will meet people from other backgrounds and we will learn that how to interact with them. I also studied in boarding school and I have got great experience over there. I think you should go for baording school.
There are many boarding schools and military schools or troubled teens in Texas. The following website lists all the boarding schools in the Texas area www.mytroubledteen.com/boarding-schools/texas.html
Boarding schools would be able to give a perfect platform to your kids for their development. Boarding schools provide best education to your kids. In boarding schools, sports and extracurricular activities are also wonderful. All teachers are highly professional and experienced. In boarding schools your kid becomes independent, disciplined and responsible that he/she can deal any critical situation with easily. Actually, I also studied in DPS Badhani boarding school. I have learnt so many things from my school.
There are no statistics at present regarding boardings schools and bullying than in normal schools because many victims of bullying do not report it, but, since boarding schools (some such as Catholic Boarding Schools or well noted boarding schools) have fewer students; stricter rules than normal schools there is far less bullying in boarding schools.
