There are two people in the Old Testament with the name of Noah. The first is the well known Noah who was the builder of the ark from Genesis 6. This great boat protected this righteous man, his family and the animals that had come on board from the great flood. There was also a female Noah. She was one of the daughters of Zelophehad in Numbers 26:33. The daughters requested property among their father's relatives, because he had died and had no male offspring. In Numbers 27, the Lord granted their request and established the law that the inheritance of a man should be turned over to his daughters if he has no sons.
