Most have about 2 pick ups, but it depends since obviously like any other instrument they can be modified to have more or less. Usually a standard bass has 2 pick ups (P Style and J Style pick ups are popular and most pick ups are magnetic). A 5 or 6 string bass should have longer pick ups (wider) than a 4 string (shorts pick ups on 5 or 6 string basses yeild a poorer sound in most instances)
it depends on the type of guitar you got bass or electric, any amp will work for electric guitar but not all amps work with electric bass.
6 string guitar = treble electric bass= bass
Thought I've never tried this, I highly doubt using bass strings on a guitar would work. First of all, the bass string likely wouldn't fit inside a guitar's tuning peg. Also, the action on a guitar simply wouldn't work with a bass string. As far as pickups go, I'm not sure what bass frequencies would do to a guitar pickup, but i wouldn't try.
The electric bass. Probably the electric bass ^ Pfft. I wish. But the acoustic guitar is a LOT more popular than the electric bass. Many people have no idea what a bass guitar is!
There are many physical and online stores that sale bass pickups. Among them are Guitar Center, Upton Bass, Nordstran Pickups, Musicians Friend, and Talk Bass.
A bass-guitar and an electric bass guitar is the same thing, unless you want to get technical and call it an acoustic bass guitar and an electric, whereas your answer would be electric (for a rock/alt./punk/metal band) ---------------------------------------------------------------------
you can't because the neck of the bass guitar is to long for an electric guitar case.
Yes. The first electric guitar was on the market in 1932, the first electric bass guitar was on the market in 1935.
drums are awsome..... DRUMS FOR SURE!!
The main differences between a bass guitar and an electric bass guitar are that a bass guitar is typically acoustic and has a hollow body, while an electric bass guitar is solid-bodied and requires amplification to be heard. Electric bass guitars also usually have more strings and produce a louder, more versatile sound compared to traditional bass guitars.
The bridge pickup on an electric guitar produces a brighter and sharper sound with more treble, while the neck pickup produces a warmer and rounder sound with more bass.
A bass guitar is really low sounding and the highest string on a bass guitar is the lowest on an electric guitar.
