What other planets are in the milky way galaxy?

All the planets we know of... even those orbiting other stars... are in the Milky Way Galaxy.

Are there any planets like earth?

There have been a number of extrasolar planets discovered that might resemble Earth. However, due to the extreme recency of the technology, and even the idea that Earth might not be unique, there is very limited data from the search for habitable planets. On a more theoretical note, if you take into account the trillions of known and estimated galaxies, and the trillions of stars in most galaxies, and the number of those stars that have planetary systems orbiting them, and the number of those planetary systems orbiting in the habitable zone, the number of possible Earth-like planets is really astonishing.

Are alien's real and do they live on their own planet and have stuff like we do?

There are probably a billion stars in our galaxy, and probably a billion galaxies in the universe. We already know what there are planets orbiting many other stars; if there are planets around only 1% of the stars, that's still 100 billion planets. If only 1% of those planets are habitable, that's a billion habitable planets. If only 1% of those planets HAVE life, that's 10 million planets with life. If only 1% of the planets that have life have highly-developed life forms, then there are 100,000 planets with highly developed life forms. If only 1% of those planets have intelligent life, that's still 1,000 planets in the universe that have intelligent life; "aliens". We have NO IDEA if there are any other planets that have life, or intelligent life in the universe, or if those aliens - if any exist - might be willing or able to communicate with us. But I would like to think so.

Do stars in the sky have water in them?

No. The stars are too hot for molecules to form. That said, some of those stars have planets and some of those planets may have water.

Is any planet like earth?

There is no other planet known that supports life. However, that view only extends to the Solar System, and to life as we know it. Recent studies have discovered large planets orbiting other stars. The problem is that we don't have the ability to see all of the planets, i.e. those that might be comparable to our own.

Are the planets stars?

Yes and no because when you look up in the sky some of those stars are planets but techinacally they aren't stars.

What fraction of stars in the universe have planets orbiting around them?

Well, my friend, that's a delightful question. You see, the universe is quite vast and wondrous, full of many mysteries. Scientists estimate that most stars have planets orbiting around them - perhaps as many as half of all stars in the heavens. Isn't that just a lovely thought? All those planets out there, dancing gracefully amongst the stars.

To Which star is super earth orbiting?

There is no single planet called "Super Earth." Rather it is is a new class of planet; similar to Earth in structure and composition, but larger. A number of super Earth planets have been discovered orbiting other stars. Note that such planets to not necessarily have surface conditions like those on Earth, but simply have rocky surfaces.

What are star planets called?

That doesn't make sense. There are stars, and there are planets. If you mean "planets around stars, other than the Sun", those are usually called "extrasolar planets" or "exoplanets".

How many planets are in the Andromeda galaxy?

Astronomer's have not been able to count all the planets in the Andromeda Galaxy. The Andromeda Galaxy is home to one-trillion stars. The Andromeda Galaxy is expected to collide with the Milky Way in the next 4.5-billion years.

Why is it easier to see the planets motion and not the stars?

stars DONT move. if they did our SUN would move. IT DOESNT DOES IT??? no. the planets move. sometimes it seems like the sun moves but its the earth orbiting the sun. THE SUN IS A STAR! so its possible that somewhere in the NEVER-ENDING space, there could be OTHER planets orbiting another SUN. and on one of those PLANETS there could be LIFE. so earth could possibly be only one of the MANY planets with LIFE. ........possibly........ Distance. Stars are too far away for you to see them move. They are all orbiting around the galactic core but what you see is the light they gave off years ago (eg--a star 1,000 light years away, the light will get here 1,000 years later). Download a good star chart and move the time line back or forward then you will see the stars move.

What is a small object orbiting a larger object called?

A small object orbiting a larger object is called a satellite. Satellites can be natural, like moons orbiting planets, or artificial, like those used for communication or navigation.
