Depends if its the single or dual sump oil pan. Dual sumps take approximately 7qts and singles take 5.5qts I believe. I have a swapped 92 5.0 cobra in my 66 and it takes 6qts because of a modified oil pan Start with 5qts, pressure check it, then add if necessary. DON'T OVER FILL IT!
