That depends, if your transmission is completely empty, you will need about 16qts. But if you are just doing say a filter change on it you will need about 8qts. To completely exchange all of the old fluid and put new fluid is very difficult to do without the use of a machine designed to pump new fluid in and old fluid out at the same time. Most people I see just swap the filter and top back off the fluid with new oil.

This is a sealed transmission. It does not have a dip stick. Read the manual. sometimes that sealed transmission leaks by way of the radiator
