Zero were red. All 300 built were Polo White.
The Corvette's debut was in January 1953 at the GM Motorama at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York City. The first two production Corvettes were completed on June 30, 1953 in Flint, Michigan. 300 Corvettes were built that year. All 1953 models were white with red interiors.
Information for little red corvettes can be found at any Chevy dealer near you. They probably have the model, make and year you are looking for. They can tell you the millage and price as well.
Many different Corvettes are many different prices. A new 2011 Corvette Coupe base price is $50,000 and it goes up from there. The top of the line Supercharged ZR1 has a base price of $110,000. As for old Corvettes, they range in price as much as the new ones do. I've seen 1980's C4 Corvettes go for $5000 for a good clean fun car. The most expensive Corvette sold at auction sold for $1,080,000. The white exterior red interior 1953 Vette convertible is fondly referred to as Double O' Three. The oldest surviving Corvette with serial of #003.
In 1999 (2733) corvettes were painted Magnetic Red (a $500. option) these include both coupes and convertibles. This option was not available on hardtops. Have not found total for convertibles only.
They didn't come in silver and red together, but they did come as two car colors (Chevrolet called them Inca silver and Vatican red).
A 1953 Red Sox yearbook would have only been published in the year 1953. Other Red Sox yearbooks are published almost yearly, or biannually.
