In Canada, normally 2 years In the UK, secondary school is 6 years, though a person who is 16 may leave after taking national examinations at the end of 4th year. In Scotland a student may continue for either one or two more years, taking highers after 5th year and advanced highers (normally university level) at the end of 6th year. In England, if a person remains after 16 they do so for 2 years, taking national exams at the end of 6th year. In the USA secondary school is 4 years, though a person may leave upon reaching 16.
In Australia, secondary school in its entirety is 5 years in length. School leaving age varies from 16-17 between states.

∙ 9y agoIn the Caribbean and the United Kingdom, you may be 12 to 13 to go to secondary school (Without getting held back.) I am not sure about other regions,though.

Secondary education typically refers to high school. To become a "kids" doctor (pediatrician), it will take four years for the bachelor's degree post secondary school, and four years of medical school.
