How many sit ups should a 12 year old be able to do
Forty two! in one minute. i had to do it in my P.E. class and it said for a twelve year old 42, 13 year old 45, and 14 year old 49! :) good luck!
you won't get a 6 pack doing situps try doing crunches, start doing about 10 to 20 then move upto 100 or even 1000 when you feel you can do it. you should see a real difference in about 3 or 4 months.
He didn't do situps, silly!
seven crunches.
For my school athletics, I do the following crunches: 30 crunches, right elbow to left knee 30 crunches, left elbow to right knee 30 crunches, legs bent to the left 30 crunches, legs bent to the right. That adds up to 120 crunches. You could do many more, or even less. It really depends on how fit you are.
It depends on how fit you are!
There is no number for everyone- each person has a different number.
Do 10,000,000 crunches in a day, it wont help in the first place. A waste of time. Hanging leg lifts will help tremendously! Olympians do them!
Your best bet is to do the situp properly without cheating or trying to get away with sloppy situps. The heavier you are the more calories you should burn with situps but it is very difficult to tell beyond that an exact number.
500 situps burn 100 calories so you need to do more than 2,500
having a six pack is 90% your body fat and 10% muscle. First lower you body fat. Second of all, no one number is good for anyone, and I wouldn't recommend just doing sit ups. Try many different ab workouts and increase your regiment over time.
20 calories per 100 crunches, if you're doing them correctly.
