THE SPARK PLUGS ON A 2000 JAGUAR S-TYPE ARE LOCATED UNDER THE VALVE COVERS, ON TOP OF THE VALVE COVERS THERE IS A SMALL PLATE COVER WITH 8 LITTLE BOLTS THAT NEEDS TO BE REMOVED WHICH WILL THEN SHOW YOUR COILS, UNPLUG COILS PULL COIL OUT AND SPARK PLUG WILL BE LOCATED UNDER THE COILS. HOPE THIS HELPS
The left side spark plugs are under the pop-off engine cover. Remove the coils and the spark plugs are right there. The right side plugs are in the same location on the other side of the engine...unfortunately you must remove the intake manifold to access them.

Remove oil filler cap, remove plastic cover (3 screws), remove air filter, remove coil packs, spark plugs can then be replaced. don't forget the three in the rear bank!
