If you start from zero with no relations in the WWE, your first step is a Wrestling school. When and if you graduate from wrestling school, you'll spend years and years in the independent circuit trying to get yourself noticed. If you manage to get yourself noticed, WWE might sign you to a development contract which means they'll put you in FCW where you learn more and prove that you're able to work with the WWE style. Eventually if you prove yourself worthy, you'll get some TV time in the main roster. But like I said before, this takes years and some don't even make it to the big E.
