Can you learn guitar and bass?

Guitar and bass are very similar. They both have a similar build and use basically the same overall technique, with many nuance differences. The guitar has six strings, and the bass has four. The four strings on a bass are the same as the four lowest sounding strings on a guitar. The biggest differences between the two are that the guitar uses chords and scales, whereas the bass uses mostly just scales, and the guitar has two more strings than a bass. Since the guitar uses chords and has two more strings, it is a little bit trickier to learn than the bass. Therefor, if you know guitar fairly well, you should be able to play bass without ever taking a lesson, whereas if you know bass fairly well, it will be a little bit more effort to learn the guitar.

How do you make a guitar of thermocol?

To make a thermocol guitar, start by cutting two large pieces of thermocol into the shape of the guitar body and a smaller piece for the neck. Use a craft knife to carve out a sound hole in the body. Attach the neck to the body using glue, and then create strings using elastic bands or thin wire stretched across the body. Finally, decorate your guitar with paint or markers for a personalized touch.

How long are the 6 strings on an electric guitar standard tuning?

D'Addario cuts their strings before they are in packages to around 37 or 40 inches is what they told me. The best advice is to keep on a little extra not to the point it's hitting the strings on the neck making it impossible to play but have a little extra just in case the strings require to stretch more. after a day or two of playing than cut it to where you feel comfortable. Usually I put a guitar in standard tuning and than once I have an idea of how much string I'll need I tune down to whatever tuning I play. Say C# or D#.

What is the proper way to string a guitar?

if its nylon strings where they feel almost like plastic, you tie them at the bridge and than make them go up the neck of the guitar than twist until their tuned. My best advice is to youtube it.

How do you play a double neck guitar?

Usually on a double neck guitar one is a 6 string and one is a 12 string. All a 12 string is is a 6 string guitar, but for every string there's an octave higher string right next to it, and when you play you hold both those strings down at the same time, giving you a little fuller and different sound than a 6 string. So I guess the player just switches when he wants to between the two. However, some double-necks vary in number of strings. If you really want to play, go and buy a basic do-it-yourself double-neck guitar teaching book...like i did....
