Well, I'd say 3.... one for the Eastern U.S., one for the middle U.S. states, and one for the western states..... I know for a fact that there is at least two because I've been to Iowa and found out that their time is an hour ahead of where I live.
there is 4 time zones in the u.s. that's what it gave me just put in this website,"how many numbers of zones the united states has in its 48 contiguous states:D thanks for lisining hope it's wat u looking for:)
four
Pacific, Mountain, Central and Eastern
Russia has 9 different time zones, 8 contiguous and another one in Kaliningrad.
There are four. It is the same number and roughly the same location as those of the contiguous United States (main, continuous states excluding Hawaii and Alaska).
The continental United States includes five time zones. The time zones in the "contiguous" 48 states are Eastern Standard Time, Central Standard Time, Mountain Standard Time, and Pacific Standard Time. Alaska is in the "continental" U.S. and has Alaska Standard Time Zone. Hawaii is not in continental U.S. It uses Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time Zone.
Divided the United States into time zones
Six time zones are present in the 48 Contiguous US States and all Canadian provinces. Four are shared between the two countries while two are present only in Canada. If you want to include Alaska, then there are eight time zones (Alaskan and Aleutian). And if including Hawaii, the number stays at eight since Hawaii is on the same time as the Aleutian Islands.
PST refers to the time zone Pacific Standard Time. There are three other time zones in the contiguous United States including Mountain Standard Time, Central Standard Time, and Eastern Standard Time.
They are Pacific, Rocky Mountain , Central and Eastern.
The United States has states in six or seven time zones (depending on the time of the year), territories in two or three additional time zones, and controls uninhabited islands in two other time zones. The total is, therefore, eleven time zones, including nine with inhabited lands.
