Use a boot disc or a Linux LiveCD such as Knoppix
After you make the floppy disc a boot drive (beforehand), you can use it to boot your system when you are unable to boot using your harddrive.
I think you can only use a windowsbootable floppy disc for the system in which it was made from.
Load the disc since hard drive won't have one to get to the internet to download, you have to use disc drive
If you need to boot from a CD on a Packard Bell system, you should use the F12 button. This will restart your computer from a disc.
To boot from a CD or DVD on a Mac hold down the C key while the Mac starts up. IF a suitable operating system is available on the disc the Mac will use that. If there are problems with the Live CD boot try an alternative route such as Virtual Box (See links below) which can boot from the CD's ISO file copied to the Macs hard disc.
You need some sort of boot media to load DOS. In addition to floppy drives, you can also use a CD-ROM, USB Flash drive, or boot over a network.
Times when you need it is when you want ot film or maybe a load of music on a disc and thats when a recovery disc come in handy !
The disc itself can be used as many times as you like. However, unless you bought a volume license (really unlikely, unless you already know exactly what that means and are certain that's what you got), the software is only licensed for a single computer. If you own a small business with 5 computers and bought 5 copies, you can use the same physical disc to do all 5 installations, but you'll need to use all five license keys (one on each computer).
How back ups boot depends on the method of modification. If it is done through a mod chip its mostly direct boot. You just put the DVD with the ISO burn in and it should load up as if it was the real disc. If you are using a swap disc, you have to first run the swap disc then insert the DVD and it should boot up. A three option for old large only and is HDD. Rather then burning DVDs with the ISO files on them you just drag the ISO files onto a standard HDD. You then use a PS2 network adapter and plug the HDD in the back of your PS2. You must then use a disc that allows you to access the HDD. Select the game you want to play and just hit start. The games will not have nearly as many load screens and will play smoother because the HDD if faster then the DVD drive can read.
Yes, one can improvise a disc golf disc and use it for ultimate.
