How many times is friendship mentioned in the Bible?

The word "friendship" is spoken in only two verses in the

KJV...


Pr 22:24 Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious

man thou shalt not go:

Jas 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the

friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore

will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.





However the word "friend" is spoken 56 times...



Ge 38:12 And in process of time the daughter of Shuah Judah's wife

died; and Judah was comforted, and went up unto his sheepshearers

to Timnath, he and his friend Hirah the Adullamite.
