Depends on how much paint you want, If you want 11 gallons, three gallons of red are needed.

If you have two gallons of white paint, you'll need three quarts of red paint.

Take however much you need to do the job, divide that amount by 11, multiply that total by three and that will tell you how much red paint you need.

What Is The Consistency Of Paint?

Different paints are mixed at different consistencies depending on how they are expected to be applied. Automotive paints are fairly thin since they are meant to be sprayed, while normal house paints are thicker so that they can easily be brushed or rolled. Usually, the data sheet for the individual paint will show the viscosity in Krebs units.

What paint should you use with an electric paint gun?

From my experience, electric paint guns such as the Wagner Power Sprayer perform poorly. In a word, they suck. I've found that if you add a little paint thinner to your paint they tend to work a lot better. If you want a nice job, try to rent a commercial grade airless paint sprayer. It does a lot better job and wastes a lot less paint. Reserve the unit and make sure all your prep is done. The units frequently rent by the hour. Bring it home, blow on your coating, and take it back.

How large a surface area in units of square feet will 1 gallon of paint cover if you apply a coat of paint that is 0.1 centimeter thick?

A gallon of paint covers about 300 square feet at a usual thickness of one coat; your example of 0.1 cm thick is very thick coat, equivalent to about 6 coats of paint at least; you could cover about 300/6 =50 square feet at that thickness.

How many cans of paint are needed to cover 2200 square units?

A square unit is equal to 100 square feet so 2200 square units equals 220,000 square feet. One gallon of paint will cover approximately 400 square feet which means 550 gallons of paint are needed. If you plan on a double coat 1,100 gallons are needed. It will take 550-1,100 1 gallon cans of paint to cover 2,200 square units.
