Unfortunately, yes, it does. Gmail is WAY BETTER than Yahoo Mail but I guess people are more used to having the classic yahoo mail and don't even bother to switch to gmail. Oh well... their loss :). Yahoo mail has the most users out of any e-mail site. (Around 700 million users) Hotmail comes in second(although I still cannot find any reason why they would want to use it.)(Around 400 million users) Gmail comes in third(only because it is a very new webmail service)(Around 50 million users)
Currently, there are over 1,000,000 Yahoo accounts made. I myself have 3: one for family, one for friends, and one for other things like websites I sign up for.
Configuring Evernote to use Yahoo Mail is the same configuration process used to use any other email address with Evernote.

Gmail is actually better than Yahoo Mail. But, Yahoo Messenger (Yahoo Chat) is better than Google Talk (Gmail Chat). I personally like to use Yahoo!because of its simlicity. It is also better known. And yes, the yahoo Chat is better than Gmails. Google also is too high of an over acheiver. It has too many things coming out.
