2,246 union soldiers were killed in the battle of wilderness
11,400 confederate soldiers and 18,400 northern soldiers
The confederates could deploy 64,000 men, the Federals 119,000.
The Federals had 17,666 casualties of which 2,246 were killed and 12,073 wounded.
The Confederates about 7,900 dead and wounded.
No battle in history has seen one million soldiers killed and wounded. The Battle of Shiloh, or Pittsburgh Landing as it was known in the North for a short time, was the bloodiest battle fought on the North American continent to that time, that is up until April of 1862. It would be surpassed several times during the course of the war. Total casualties for the battle on both sides was about 25,000 men killed or wounded. The number killed was about 1800 for the north and almost the same for the South. Many more were maimed for life. The horror of the battle shocked both the North and the South, yet these numbers would be far exceeded at both Antietam and Gettysburg.
Based on the category where the question appeared I assume you are interested in the FIRST battle of Bull Run.In the First Battle of Bull Run (called the First Battle of Manassas by the Confederate forces), the Union suffered casualties of 2,896 (460 killed, 1,124 wounded, 1,312 captured/missing).In the Second Battle of Bull Run (called Second Manassas by the Confederates), the Union forces suffered casualties of approx. 10,000 killed and wounded.
North - Ulysses S. Grant South - Robert E. Lee
Immagration to the North provided workers for production and replacements for soldiers killed or wounded.
At the Battle of Antietem (also known as the Battle of Sharpsburg), fought on September 17, 1862 near Sharpsburg, Maryland, 1,546 Confederate soldiers were killed, 7,752 were wounded, and 1,018 were captured or missing. On the Union side, 2,108 were killed, 9,540 were wounded, and 753 were captured or missing.
s soldiers died and many wounded and an estimated that 700 north vietnamese soldiers where killed
In North en Virginia Spotsylvania county
They really enjoyed fie
The south.
The North and the South called it the Battle of Fredericksburg. Almost 1,900 soldiers from the North and South died in the battle along with thousands more wounded.

It was fought in both Spotsylvania and Orange Counties in north eastern Virginia

I'm not sure what you mean by the advantage, but the Battle of the Wilderness was a tactical Confederate victory. The Federals were outmanoeuvered and their flanks were rolled up, and they lost 18000 men to the south's 8000.

The largest single-location land battle in the history of North America in modern times was the battle of Gettysburg with an estimated 3,155 killed, 14,531 wounded on the Union side and 4,708 killed, 12,693 wounded on the Confederate side. Approximately 165,620 men fought in the battle. It could also be argued that the Fredericksburg campaign, which lasted from 11 December to 15 December 1862 and was fought in and around Spotsylvania county and Fredericksburg, Virgina was a single battle, although it is usually considered to be a series of related battles: the Crossing the Rappahannock over the span of 11-12 December, then two separate battles on 13 December - one south of Fredericksburg and another at the city of Fredericksburg known as the battle of Marye's Heights. The last 2 days of the Fredericksburg campaign mainly consisted of the Union troops recovering their wounded and retreating under a white flag of truce. In all, about 114,000 Union troops and 72,500 fought in the battles with a reported 12,653 Union casualties (1,284 killed, 9,600 wounded, 1,769 captured/missing) and 5,377 Confederate casualties (608 killed, 4,116 wounded, 653 captured/missing). If the Fredericksburg campaign is considered a single multi-day battle, it would be bigger than Gettysburg. For comparison, the largest battle of the Revolutionary war was the battle of Long Island which involved about 10,000 American and 20,000 British troops. The largest land battle of the war of 1812 was probably the Battle of New Orleans where about 11,000 British troops fought with about 4,000 American troops resulting in 2459 British casualties (386 killed, 1,521 wounded, 552 missing) and 333 American casualties (55 killed, 185 wounded, 93 missing). In the Mexican/American war, the biggest battle may have been the battle of Churubusco where about 3,800 Mexican soldiers fought 8,497 US soldiers resulting in 263 killed, 460 wounded, 1,261 captured, and 20 missing for the Mexican army and 139 killed, 865 wounded 40 missing for the US Army. There may well have been larger battles in pre-columbian times but not enough information is available to estimate the size of these battles between the indigenous peoples
According to recent numerical research and records, the north had a few more casualties than the south during the Civil War, or the battle between North and South. The south suffered 490,309 soldiers killed, wounded, captured or missing, while the north suffered 596,670.
