According to some studies, most women get turned on by women and not by men, so (by definition), most women are lesbians. However if you were referring to the ones with "male brain" (the "classic lesbians", those who are biologically lesbians) then approximately 9% of women are.

∙ 12y agoHistorically, about 10 % of the population have been gay or lesbian but with women it's a little different. Many women supress their sexuality, some all their lives because it's safer and easier to be with a man. Many more women come out in their forty's and fifty's when they are done raising their children and have time to explore their sexuality. So the easy answer is about 10%.
