Depending on your body size and tolerance level, You would need a about a cereal bowl full of Xanax to overdose on Alprazolam alone. the benzodiazepine family is generally recognized as very safe. Combining benzodiazepines with other drugs is very dangerous though.

If you are trying to overdose please dont, suicide isn't worth it.

∙ 12y agoIt differs wildly from person to person. For rats, the dose that killed 50% of the test subjects ranged between 330 mg/kg to 21000 mg/kg. Due to the similarities between rats and humans as far as medicine reactions are concerned, it's probably safe to say you'll be "fine" as long as you don't eat multiple bottles of the stuff all in one go. To put that in perspective, that's 165 - 10500 two mg pills, which are the largest on the market. Be careful with drug interactions, though. And grapefruit juice. For some reason, grapefruit juice increases the bioavailability of alprazolam in your blood, meaning you need less for an effective dose; this directly translates as a lower dose required to OD.

It really just depends on the MG of those four Xanax you took. If they were .5's, not much will really happen. You'll get tired, maybe a little wobbly while walking. At 1MG, you'd be taking 4MG of Xanax would again make you extremely tired. I'm pretty positive it takes more than just four Xanax to overdose. I'm seveteen as well, I take Xanax; 1MG. So I know this from experience. :)
