Well, I assume we are talking about being elected to the office of President, not the other offices he was in like Vice President (elected twice) or the house. The answer is no, he was only elected twice, 1968 & 1972. At this time in history it was, and still is, unconstitutional to be elected more than two terms. The source of the three number may be because he was so close to be elected in 1960 against JFK and bring up stuff about a stolen election, Illinois and Richard Dailey, and dead people voting.
Yes he was. In 1968 and again in 1972 (the latter by a landslide).
Richard Nixon appeared on the television show "Laugh In" and deadpanned "Sock it to me?" for the camera. Many credit this appearance with helping Nixon get elected to the presidency.
Nixon was Vice President for 8 years and President for about 5 1/2 years.

President Richard Nixon was elected to be the Republican Presidential Nominee at their convention in Chicago, Illinois, in 1960. Many people were elected in 1960 from Illinois.
He only served the last two years of Nixon's second term when Nixon resigned. In fact, he replaced Nixon's V.P., and then when Nixon resigned, he replaced the President. He was never elected into the office.
Richard Nixon has been portrayed by many actors in many films. Anthony Hopkins played him in a movie.
Richard Nixon was elected to the Presidency in 1968, beating Hubert Humphrey. He served his full term and was re-elected in 1972 beating Edmund Muskie. Although his second term wasn't supposed to end until January 20th 1976, he resigned August 9th, 1974 to avoid impeachment over the Watergate Scandal.
Many Americans lost faith in their government and became cynical about politics.
