Hi How might history have been different if Hitler won world war 2. How might history have been different if the Cuban missile crisis was not resolved. These are questions that take up time when we should be trying to make history. How will our future turn out if we turn to personal home power systems. How will our future turn out if we power our transport and automobiles by renewable sources. How will our future turn out if we change to compressed air cars for city transport. The past has brought use here, how do we go forward on a planet that is 7 billion and rising.

Since they were, it is hard to say. The Indian tribes fought among themselves as well as against Europeans. The Spanish missions served as places of refuge where Indians could escape their attackers. The Spaniards also had black slaves. Possibly a European type culture would have evolved with Black Slaves, Indian Serfs, and Spanish Free Men. They would live in walled villages and tend their farms by day. Then in the United States, something similar would have evolved.

You don't. You might. It all depends on what country you live in while going to school. If you are borrn and raised in China, you learn about Chinese history first. Only at more advanced school levels would you learn about any European history. United States schools sometimes teach some European history because some events in Europe had a major impace on life in the U.S.

Like all 'what ifs' of history, different historians will have different answers. You could reasonably say the Germany might have over-run much of France, and that the Russian Revolution might not have happened, or might have ended up with a different result. You could also say that the break-up of the large eastern European blocs might not have happened or that the borders of the new smaller countries might have been drawn differently. Germany might not have lost its colonies, even the state of Israel might not have been created. Come on, let's see some other ideas.

No, History repeats itself but this time it might be a different race.
