Khufu was the pharaoh (you might recognize as king) in the pyramid not the pyramid itself. This pyramid was called The Great Pyramid (and sometimes-)of Giza. This pyramid was the tallest pyramid.

the people who built the great sphinx were the slaves so that the pharoahs would pay them to build the ryamids and this. :) ------------------- It was built during the reign of Khafre in the 4th Dynasty, who is also responsible for the Great Pyramid. While slaves might have been involved in some level, recent digs have revealed an extensive grave site full of workers who were Egyptian citizens. Serving the Pharaoh in life would mostly guarantee a citizen passage into the afterlife.

the Egyptians used to bury their kings with like water,weaponry,cloths,gold,a few personal belongings,grains and sometimes a few soldiers .the Egyptians believed that there was an afterlife after death so they buried these things as they thought that the king may need them. scorpions, beetles,spiders,rats&snakes would have some how gained entry in the pyramid as it was cool inside and would have bread in the pyramid forming a micro ecosystem.that can be one reason why you find these animals in a pyramid.and maby the pharaoh was buried with beetles as the Egyptians might have thought that he might need them for protection
