I would say that the largest reason would be because of Moses, He had such strong faith, and he was guided so much by God, God communicated with him directly and it was amazing. Also even though Moses had his short falls and doubts, he kept getting back up and follow God even if it seemed nuts.
A true Christians faith is a gift from God, buildings should not have anything to do with it.

Because if you are on a very important mission or have a great goal that might be hard to reach it is a mission of faith because you might not be able to reach it, but you are relying on faith and hope to get you there
