No. According to the L81 registry, all 1981 Corvettes had an L81 engine. The L82 was also a 350, it just had different specifications.
With the base L48 350ci V8 it puts out 185HP and with the optional L82 350ci V8 it puts out 220HP.
The 1980 Toyota Celica ST and GT was powered by the 2.2L 20R engine in North America and output 90 HP at 4800 RPM. The 1980 special edition "US Grand Prix" GT Liftback contained the 2.4L 22R engine which output 97 HP at 4800 RPM.
