The Macintosh 128K had 128k DRAM, and a 16 bit databus. Originally called the Macintosh Apple, a personal computer, not bad for the $2,495 introductory price released in January 1984.
more than you can afford
The price of the first Apple Macintosh computers was US$ 2,495.
The original Macintosh computer displayed in monochrome (black and white). Since the original Macintosh is now 23 years old, as you can expect, the original Macintosh was considerably slower and had much less memory. Perhaps the most immediate difference that would strike you, after the different shape of the computer physically, would be the absence of the application bar on the bottom of the screen. However, there are many characteristics which have been retained over the years, not the least of which is the Macintosh approach to menus. Made in 1985 so bye
Lisa was a failed desktop computer made by Apple. It was somewhat similar in concept to the slightly later (original) Macintosh computer, but was much more expensive than the (already expensive compared to contemporary IBM-compatible PCs) Macintosh.
Apple make a range of Macintosh computers which have a range of storage capacities. The storage capacity can be further enhanced by the addition of external storage devices. Terabytes....

It was both Steve Jobs and Steve Wonzniak. They made the first Apple computer: the Macintosh (Mac for short)Names are right machine is wrong. It was the Apple I in 1976 using a MosTek 6502 processor. The Mac was much later and has used Motorola 680x0, PowerPC, and Intel processors in that order.
A Mac is called a Mac because it's short for Macintosh. The lead designer on the project was Jef Raskin, whose favorite apple is the McIntosh. Apple Legal decided to change the spelling because McIntosh is a brand of very fancy audio equipment. PC is short for "Personal Computer." In the 1970s and early 1980s we said a "home computer" was a very small desktop that would be good for games and homework, and a "personal computer" was something you'd have at work. IBM decided to call its new computer the "IBM Personal Computer." That's what the label said. Naturally, everyone abbreviated Personal Computer to "PC," and later the "IBM" part got dropped. I much prefer the terms "Mac" and "Windows box" but some people don't agree..
The very first Mac will be worth a bit more than other first generation Macs - if they are working, have the right serial number and the Mac team's signatures inside the case early Macs sell for between $800 and $1200 depending on condition etc.
ENIAC cost the Army $500,000 UNIVAC cost the census bureau $250,000 because that is what the contract said. However Remington Rand calculated that to make a profit the machines should really sell for $2,500,000 so prices for UNIVAC rose rapidly after that on later units.
