The answer for this to be accurate would vary widely between about .5 cubic feet to about 10 cubic feet. It depends on whether the enclosure has a port or if it is a bandpass box and such and it depends on the specifications like qas, qts, qms and qes. I think that the most important one is the qms and if I'm not mistaken, the lower the qms is, the smaller the enclosure should be. Also, if the enclosure has a port, it can be smaller. The size and length of the port should be computed also. There are speaker design programs on websites and available for download. I suggest one of them. The web page listed below has links to several speaker design programs and links from that page are included for redundancy.
