Only about 7 or 8psi safely on a stock motor anymore than that your asking for another motor. Experienced this with 12psi was fun lol and I was impressed with how much it held up to.
about 60psi
7 psi is safe to boost on a stock d-series motor
The f22b1 is a great engine for boost it has a compression of 8.8:1 and can handle 12.1:1 so you boost about 11-12lbs. On the stock internals no problem.
Won't be an easy fit.. the Cummins is an inline six, with a much longer block. You'll almost certainly have to go to electric fans.
If it hasn't got a turbo there's no place for it to get boost from.
Yes, it can only if you run more than the heads can handle. With the proper amount of boost she will purr like a kitten.
Stock turbo can run close to 14 PSI...but you can increase as much as your turbo can. The engine will not last as long with higher boost. Upgrading internals such as pistons, rods, crankshaft, camshaft, and valves can allow much higher boost.
8lbs max, anymore and you better cross your fingers.
It's within the realm of possibility, but not of practicality. First off, the 6.5 LB7 is a V8 engine, whereas the Cummins (whether the 5.9 or 6.7) is an inline six with a much larger block.
you might be running too much boost off of your turbo especially if youre running a stock turbo
These hp and torque numbers are incorrect for a 94 cummins dodge, 195hp and 400lbs of torque is more like it. 04 models have the 325hp 600lbs of torque cummins in them. Although it wouldn't take much to boost a 94 model far beyond the 04 ratings if you didn't mind spending a couple $.
