10 terabytes.
The actual memory in a hard drive is called a cache. My current drive has a 32MB cache, This cache will store data coming into the hard drive if the data coming in is faster than the data being written down. While it does not help very much with larger files (movies, etc) it makes things move much faster if you are accessing a bunch of different files when playing a game for example.
Internal hard drives are inside of your pc or phone or pretty much any electrical device. Depending on how large your hard drive is, you can store a lot or a little of data.

backing up an entire hard drive is difficult...so much data to back up...
The type of partition is irrelevant to how much data can be stored. A partition can hold as much data as has been designated on the hard drive during the creation of the partition. The size of your hard drive determines how large the NTFS partition can be.
Yes, pretty much. Hence why having very good RAM and hard drive is a big priority when looking for speed.
Grabbing data? That would be reading data from a hard drive. However, there is also a hard-drive cache which is much more faster, however the data must already be processed for this to be possible.
A data storage device is anything that will hold computer files, from the old days of magnetic tape to today's portable USB drives. Well, it depends on how much data you want to store. You can use an external hard drive for large amounts or a portable thumb drive for smaller amounts. Which data storage device you choose depends largely on the amount of data you need to store.

Less than 1 Gigabyte.
It depends. Online, you can store as much as 100 - 500 GB of email! Offline, you can store as much email as much as your hard drive will permit.
