bytes , kilobytes , megabytes , gigabytes , tetra bytes etc.
You cannot convert between these units. Gigabytes is a unit of computer data storage (other units are: bit, byte, character, word, doubleword, megaword, etc.). Time is measured in units of seconds, minutes, days, years, gigayears, etc. There is no way to convert between them.
it can be measured in bytes, kilobytes, megabytes, gigabytes, terabytes, exobytes, etc. also, it can be measured in bits
Data is literally everything that you read, watch or down/upload online. That means your emails, pictures, files, videos, music and video games. Anything that has a unit of measurement next to it (Kb, Mb, MB, Gb, GB, etc) is data, and will affect you in or way or another.
First off, a calrification: I am talking about a "regular" DL: disk, not a Blu-Ray disk. The capacity printed on the disk is 8.5 Gb, but some of this goes to overheads and formatting information. The useable space is more like 8.2 Gb, and can vary depending on the data being stored, e.g. movies versus data.
It depends on your activity level such as downloading, surfing, etc.
gigahertz is the processing speed of your CPU(eg. 1.8GHz,2.8Ghz etc). It's the speed at which your processor runs. Gigabytes is the unit in which data(any data)in your RAM,HardDisk,Memory card or any other storage device can be stored is measured.simply,Its the unit to measure the data storage capacity.Eg- 2GB RAM,160GB hard disk etc..
The only data storage devices that do NOT hold more than 1 GB are 1.44 MB 3.5" floppy disks and the 512kb 5.25" floppy disks. All modern thumb drives, hard drives, network attached storage, etc. generally hold more than 1 GB. Some hold more than 1,500 GB.
10 GB is a capacity of hard-drive most likely. A GB (giga byte) is a unit of measurement for storing data (music, documents, photos etc.) on a computer. These days 10 GB is quite small. Most computers should come with a 200 GB hard drive at minimum as of 2009.
The iPod Software, along with the preloaded apps, settings, etc., take up about 1 gigabyte.
The capacity of the "SDSC" or Secure Digital Standard Capacity card can hold from 1 MG to 4 GB of data. The Secure Digital High Capacity or "SDHC" can hold from 4 GB to 32 GB of data, and the Secure Digital Extended Capacity or "SDXC" can hold from 32 GB to 2 TB of data.
When you text, the messages are stored in your phone's memory. This takes up a very, very small portion of the phone's device memory. Sending a text uses the "voice" portion of the phone, and not the "data" portion, so your monthly allowance of data (2GB, 4GB, etc.) is not used.
