I swear I recall the regular size candies being 33 cents at walgreens in year 2000 in Florida. gas was 99 cents a gallon. but then again i was only 5 years old. the gas one i remember well. the candy one. pretty well. but still a chance i got it wrong for the candy one.

∙ 3y agoNot too long ago i guess before covid. candy bars were like 74 cents. and a couple years before 68. so maybe that 33 cents may be accurate since we are talking about 20 years ago? but then again inflation in the last 20 years was only about 50% i think.
