Someone posted on here that they cost around $600..think again! A well bred AKC registered cavalier from a quality breeder will cost around $1200 up. It can go way up from there, we paid over $2,000 for our cavalier (both parents are champions, dad is the #1 dog in Canada and in the top 20 in the US) and that's considered a pretty normal price tag. Hope this helps!
because they are pure bred

Actually, the price of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are usually around $2,000. Yes that is a lot but if you really learned about this breed you would know they are VERY great show dogs and can win a lot of money for a lucky person. This breed is also rare, very rare and if you see one on sale it will be gone before you know it.
A lot! If you buy a pure breed not from a shelter any dog will cost a lot of money. It all depends where you buy it from. You wont find many at all but even less will you see them in shelters. Mine was from Puppy Plus and cost $100,000. I know a lot of money.
