$23-57 per hour
Hairstylists usually earn $25,000 their first year. After that there isn't a limit to how much you can make. It's the only industry that you decide how much you make and when you work.
A hairstylist can make up to $50,000 or maybe even more depending on how many hours one works, what kind of salon, if you stack clients, etc. I work at a moderate pace, 35 hours a week, and after taxes, supplies, chair rent, training, etc, I bring home about $22k a year. Not getting rich, but I don't like to be on my feet 12 hours a day either.
around 30,000 and up to 80,000 it just depends on size of salon and veryus othere things
we cant put an average on nay business.
The key word is depends (it could be from losses to thousands)
For example take supercuts and hair cuttery, they only open in good places ( rents run from 2000-6000k a month!, either busy street, inside a mall or next to a supermarket)
While family owned salon mostly stay in cheaper spaces because they are looking to pay less as possible. There is the difference between nation wide salons and locals. It is all about location!
a salon with low rent could make a a lot of money but most of the time the price for the rent is an indication of what is worth. It wont be the same as next to a supermarket where around 5000k cars park each day and see your business.
Another question: how many hair salons are there? if yes is your is the best location? If your is your best location you probably could advertize and the other ones would soon close or really hit them badly or vice versa, location location!.
a regular employee makes anywhere from 20k-60k depending on how busy it is.
The owner of those who make 20k full time probably makes a little bit more let say anywhere from 20k to 60k. And those that make 60k or in the top % I dont like saying or putting a limit ( there is no limits of what your could make) the store owner gets a portion of their salary and when you have 8 people working for you and you get 40% then you start seen the bucks. So, anywhere from 80k-250k ( like i say I dont want to put any limits.
I own 3 cellphone stores and one makes 30k a year and another one 140k a year. So, it si all about location. Will open a hair salon soon. :) but pretty much all business are the same.
Beauticians normally get paid around 50/50 of the earned money. The wage can be different because of how much is agreed and charged and how much profit is made.
The salary of a hairstylist varies anywhere from los five figures to low six figures depending on the individual professional, location, sub-specialty of the professional, client roster, etc.
depending on what year of your trainee-ship you are up to, first and second years range between $300-$350 and third to senior hair dresser is around the $400-$500 mark on average
