Depends on the make and model of your vehicle. Just be careful, Nissans and others use threaded bolts so it's a bit time consuming if you're doing this yourself. If you are and your car is more than 7 years old I would recommend just replacing the whole exhaust system (usually in the ballpark of $600 and up) because it will save you money and time in the long run. Just a muffler though depends. I spent $150 for mine and it's not performance or anything just a plain muffler.
