We have golden comets which are similar. They have access to plenty of grass and we move them once a week to fresh grass. We have 16 birds and they eat about 100 Ibs. a month of feed. That's 25 Ibs per week, 3.5 Ibs a day. So for one bird, that's 6.25 Ibs a month, 1.5 Ibs a week or .2 Ibs a day.

How many eggs can 300 Rhode Island hens lay per month?

Healthy Rhode Island Reds can lay up to 5-6 eggs per week, or 20-24 per month, so let's say 22 eggs per month. You have 300 hens. In general you would expect 6600 eggs per month. However you also have to consider the weather, the age of the birds, moulting, and other stressors that would reduce the egg count for the month. Maximum egg production would be in the spring and fall, with less eggs laid in the winter and summer months.
