The Gamo Hunter Extreme Is rated at 1600 FPS with Gamo PBA Pellets, and 1200 FPS with Lead Pellets. The cost is $485.95 from Pyramyd AIr. However I caution you about using PBA Pellets. They are 5.4 grain compared to a Crosman 7.9 grain pellet, so they are very light. Light pellets have a tendency to wonder off target. You won't find these pellets in any competition shooting. Heaver pellets fly straighter and have more knock down impact. So don't confuse speed with accuracy, they are two different things. There are several other pellet rifles that are rated at 1200 FPS that are cheaper but will also reach 1600 FPS if they use the Gamo PBA Pellets. I suggest you read the reviews on the link below.
